Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ classes

Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ merges traditional yoga with aerial arts. Our hammocks are a new kind of 'prop' that aid in body positioning and alignment. We focus on strength, flexibility and fun.  Since our hammocks allows for safe inversions, we are able to work on spinal decompression from your very first session.  There are so many fun and rewarding yoga poses you may have found challenging in a traditional yoga class.  Here at UP you get to embrace growth in these poses on your first try.  If you are new to yoga or aerial arts, our Level 1 is a perfect place to begin.  You will feel safe, challenged and rewarded.

Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ Level 1

Prerequisites: None - Great for beginners!

Our Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ classes take influence from traditional Yoga poses, Aerial Arts and Pilates. This class is a complete body workout and stretch designed to help release the kinks from the spine, alleviate muscle tension, tone and elongate your muscles, mobilize and hydrate compressed joints and extend your flexibility. This class is suitable both for beginners and advanced practitioners. It will align your body and mind from ground to sky!

 

Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ - All Levels

Prerequisites: None, but Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ Level 1 highly recommended

This class is for those who have attended our signature Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ Level 1 and are looking to further their practice. It combines elements of our signature Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ level 1 with more advanced moves. Be ready for a strength training workout, longer inversions and combined strength with stretch. This class is sure to stir up your hormones, tone your muscles and align both body and mind from ground to sky. Hand and Ankle weights are optional in this class. We advise attending at least one of our Aerial Yoga Level 1 classes before taking All Levels, but beginners are welcome.

 

Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ - Burn

Prerequisites: Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ Level 1

This class is for those who have mastered Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ Level 1 and are looking to further their practice. You will be doing 15 reps of every muscle-building exercise we can throw at you. This class is a great for cardio and strength, with short breaks for stretch after each muscle group. For students seeking a great workout!

 

Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ - Level 2

Prerequisites: Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ Level 1

This class is for those who have mastered Up Flying Yogaâ„¢ Level 1 and are looking to further their practice. It's dealer's choice format, so we work on many fun and challenging Up Flying Yoga moves, including standing high in the fabric, wrapped up inside it, or even doing flips! Every class is different, and you may go the whole class without ever touching the ground!
